When people are watching Car Share they find certain things funny and certain techniques make it even funnier:

• Arguments between characters make the audience laugh because it is very relatable for everyone watching.

• Another thing that makes the audience laugh is two opposite characters being put together and forced to talk to each other it causes more arguments because they both have two different views.
  

• Peter Kay is a well known comedian so when people watch Car Share they will most likely find it funnier because they know one of the main characters.
  

• As the all of the episodes are filmed in a car there are a lot of songs being played and nearly all of the songs are old songs to attract an older audience as they will recognize nearly all of the songs.
  

• Car Share uses a technique called snowballing this is where they carry on a joke and make it bigger and bigger this means the joke gets better and more funny.

Episodes

1) In episode 1 it introduces us to the main characters and we can see from of the start that they are both completely opposite, the first thing that we see is that they are both going to argue for example when Kayleigh sprays John with her urine and John is shouting at her yet Kayleigh stays carm and doesn't really recognize what she did wrong so this shows us what the characters are like and what is funny about them.

2) Episode 2 shows the audience again that Kayleigh maybe isn't as smart or as grown up as John because when they are talking Kayleigh mentions what she does in her spare time which is dogging which can be taken in two ways but Kayleigh doesn't know about the other way and involves her old neighbour Ken, this is known as snowballing as they carry on the joke and it gets bigger and bigger each as the episode goes on.

3) Episode 3 shows us that the two main characters

even though they are both different they do think the same because when they see a worker in the same store as them they both know him as someone who smells of fish this creates a bond between the two characters and shows the audience that then can get along. Later on in future episodes we can see them create a much better bond between each other.


4) In episode 4 the audience will be able to see that John is clearly the older character because when he get a hands free phone fitted in his car he is amazed by it whereas Kayleigh isn't as surprised, while Jonh is still in amaze with his hands free phone Kayleigh is remembering last night when she went to watch Beyoncé this shows us that Kayleigh is still young and still goes to concerts.

Peter Kays Car Share is a British sitcom which is focused around a supermarket assistant manager John Redmond.

The sitcom is written by Peter Kay who is a English comedian and an actor, he has also written 3 books and has got a Guinness World Record for the most successful stand up comedy tours.

Car Share has two main characters John Redmond ( the assistant manager) and Kayleigh Kitson (promotions rep), these two characters are part of a car share scheme which involves sharing a car with one other, this sitcom is only filmed in the car driving to and from there work place in Johns Fiat 500L. Each episode is 30 minutes long so hasn't got long episodes this mean they have to make it funny and make sure everything they put in is eye catching enjoyable.

                              

Peter Kay

This English comedian was born in Farnworth, Lancaster only left school with one GCSE in art and moved from many different jobs including toilet roll factory, cinema, bingo hall and many other jobs. He began a degree course in the University of Liverpool where he studied media, but he dropped out because he was given an unconditional offer to attend a Higher National Diploma in media performance at the University of Salford, he studied media until he completed the course this involved stand up. While Kay was trying to have a career in stand up he still worked part time in his local cinema, when the cinema closed down he was left with the choice to find another job or focus full time on stand up. His stand up career really picked up in 1997 when he won the show 'So you think your funny' after that he was featured in many different festivals and shows like in 1998 when he was in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

It is produced by Sarah Fraser for King Bert

3) What audience is it aimed at? Why?

Walliams and Friends is aimed at teenagers but older teenagers around 16 and above because there is a lot of rude language and shocking scenes also younger people might not get some of the jokes, also some of the star actors like Jack Whitehall wont be well known to the older generation and the younger generation as he usually appears in rude comedy's.

4) Why is it on at that time and on that channel?

The show is aired after 9:00 PM because children will be in bed because it is not suitable for young kids and they are not allowed to see it, it is on BBC 1 because that is one of the main channels meaning more people will know of it meaning it will attract more attention.

5) Is it on after the watershed? Why?

It is on after the watershed as it is not suitable for younger people so by that time they should be in bed meaning they will not get exposed to the rude language.
