Codes and conventions of Celebrity Juice
Celebrity Juice has many different fans who like the show for all sorts of reasons but here are some of the main reasons why:
- Funny and well known presenter- Keith Lemon the presenter of Celebrity Juice is a well known celebrity as he has stared in shows such as: Through the Key Hole, Take Me Out: Celebrity Special, Keith Lemon Sketch Show and many others. Keith Lemon's real name is Leigh Francis but his alter ego Keith Lemon is based of his best friend.
- Famous guests- there is always a big range or guests on the show who do many different things so nearly all the people watching will know at least one of the guests if not the presenter Keith Lemon. There are three guests that are always on the panel that are Fearne Cotton, Holly Willoughby and Gino D'Acampo. Some of the most recognisable guests are: Chris Ramsey, Dynamo, Danny Dyer, Rizzle Kicks, Jimmy Carr, Olly Murs, Joey Essex, Paddy McGuinness and loads more.
- Small games- in every episode of Celebrity Juice there is a multiple games in it that are nearly all original this make it a random factor so the audience don't know what to expect, this means it isn't too repetitive and keep the show fresh.
- Live Audience- As there is a live audience is keep the codes and conventions of a normal TV panel show but it also makes things funnier, as the panel has such a range of celebrities it means when one of the guests makes a funny joke it make it funnier when the whole audience laughs.
- Running time- Each episode is around 30-60 minutes long so it is a good amount of time and gives the audience enough time to get to know the guests, it also gives time for funny moments.
- Celebrity Juice normally starts at 10pm so this is just after the water shed this is a clear sign that it is rude and not for young viewers because after the water shed most children will be in bed, this gives us a rough guess on what age range the audience is, I think the people who watch this are older teenagers around 16-18 and young adults around 20-25.
